Rebranding a Leader in the HR Industry Ossanna Consulting Group, Inc.
The challenge:
Drawing on over twenty years of experience in the human resources field, the Ossanna Consulting Group had become the dominant player in the Chicago HR consulting
market. But despite their impressive client list and large pool of elite consultants, their promotional folders resembled those of a start-up firm rather than a proven
industry leader. The challenge was to create materials that conveyed the width and breadth of Ossanna’s services, but that got straight to the point for busy HR
professionals.
The solution:
Ossanna’s founder, Nikki Teik, turned to Robin Weidner Copywriting to update the company’s promotional materials. She asked Robin to produce the copy for a marketing
folder that clearly differentiated their firm to the busy HR professionals, and could be easily adapted for distribution to either consultants or clients. Robin interviewed and
surveyed Ossanna’s staff, consultants, and clients to find out what distinguished OCG from their competitors. She compiled all the results of these surveys into clearly
organized charts and used the language of the respondents to communicate “The Ossanna Difference.” From all of this, she created a chart that clarifies and organizes
Ossanna’s business model, while illustrating what makes Ossanna stand out from the competition. The completed folder includes powerful testimonials, letters to clients
and consultants, and an entirely reworked brochure; clearly portraying Ossanna as an industry leader whose values and depth of experience are unmatched in their field.
The results:
Osssanna is now armed with marketing materials that distinctly convey their message to HR professionals, useful for trade shows and soliciting business.
Their new materials speak to clients in a voice that they can relate to. They clearly distinguish Ossanna as a proven partner, supporting Ossanna’s long-term
goals of expanding both nationally and internationally.
