This Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through rwcopywriting.com. We are a professional copywriting studio providing digital services. Because our work involves significant time investment in discovery, research, and writing, refund eligibility depends on the stage of the engagement at the time of the request.
If you cancel your engagement after payment but before the project brief has been confirmed in writing by both parties, you are eligible for a refund minus a discovery and scheduling fee of $125.00. This fee covers the time spent on the discovery session, brief preparation, and project scheduling.
If the discovery session has not yet taken place, the full refund amount (minus a $25.00 administrative fee) is available.
Once the project brief is confirmed and research has begun, you may cancel and receive a partial refund of 50% of the purchase price. The remaining 50% covers the discovery, brief, and research work already completed.
No refund is available after the first draft has been delivered. The delivery of the first draft constitutes the completion of the primary writing service. You retain your included revision rounds and the right to receive a revised version that matches the confirmed brief.
If the delivered copy materially departs from the confirmed written brief in a way that is not addressed through revision rounds, we will work with you to resolve the issue. Contact hello@rwcopywriting.com to open a dispute.
If you have paid for a service but have not returned a completed project brief within 60 days of payment, we reserve the right to consider the engagement abandoned. In this case, no refund is available. We will attempt to contact you at least twice via the email address used at checkout before treating an engagement as abandoned.
Refunds for individual add-on services (e.g., SEO keyword integration, extra revision rounds) follow the same policy as the base service. If the add-on work has not been started, a full refund of the add-on amount is available. If work has begun, no refund is available for the add-on.
Unused consultation hours may be refunded in full if the refund request is submitted before the session is scheduled. Once a session is scheduled and confirmed, no refund is available regardless of whether it takes place. If we cancel a scheduled session, the session is rescheduled or the hour is credited to your account.
To request a refund, email hello@rwcopywriting.com with your order reference number (from your Stripe receipt), the reason for the refund request, and the stage of the engagement. We process refund requests within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed via the original payment method through Stripe and may take 5 to 10 business days to appear, depending on your bank.
We ask that you contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Chargebacks initiated without prior contact may result in the suspension of your ability to purchase services from us in the future. We take all chargeback disputes seriously and will provide full documentation to our payment processor in any dispute.
We handle refund requests on a case-by-case basis and may exercise discretion in exceptional circumstances. If you believe your situation warrants an exception to this policy, please contact us and explain your circumstances. We want every engagement to end fairly for both parties.
